About Humphrey Norman Mugoya
I am a first-class graduate with distinction in BA.LLB (Crime & Criminology) Honors from Marwadi University, India, and a dynamic legal strategist dedicated to advocacy, justice reform, and global empowerment. My work spans legal research, cross-border consultancy, and strategic advisory, currently serving as the Director of Strategy and Legal Affairs at Omagor Men’s Foundation (OMF), where I lead initiatives that strengthen victim advocacy, justice system transformation, and men’s wellness across Uganda.
My academic journey has been marked by rigour and purpose. I’ve interned at the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, and leading law firms such as Choithani Law Associates, contributing to everything from client counselling and affidavit drafting to cross-examination prep and comparative constitutional research. These experiences shaped my practical understanding of criminal defence, contract law, organized crime, and restorative justice—skills I now use to influence policy and support survivors/victims.
A prolific researcher, I’ve published with the Journal of National Law University Delhi, Indian Journal of Law and Legal Research, and Global Thoughts and Opinions edited by Justice A.K. Sikri and Justice Dipak Misra. My scholarship explores trauma-informed justice processes, child victim protection, sexual assault investigation methodologies, and the intersection of domestic and international criminal law in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Beyond academia and advocacy, I offer high-impact consultancy in international visa preparation and documentation, helping clients navigate applications and interviews for the U.S., Canada, and U.K. immigration systems. This has become a trusted extension of my legal skillset, especially for students, professionals, and vulnerable populations seeking global mobility or educational opportunities.
My leadership extends into community-building roles—such as heading various campaigns under the OMF, where I bridged legal Certified knowledge in AI & Law, Criminology, and Alternative Dispute Resolution to underserved communities in the subsaharan African region through marrying traditional legal insight with modern applications. I bring the same discipline and agility to my legal work, whether I’m advising on policy frameworks or mentoring aspiring lawyers.
